We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven team leader to oversee and coordinate the daily activities of our field operations staff. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of logistics and freight forwarding processes, including route planning, shift scheduling, and support for customs clearance documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of field staff, providing guidance and support where necessary.
  • Develop and implement efficient work plans, including route bookings and shift schedules, based on daily and seasonal volume.
  • Monitor the progress of truck loadings and take corrective action as needed to ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation related to customs clearance processes in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety guidelines, and company standards.
  • Act as a liaison between field operations and other departments to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding field activities and performance.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience in logistics, transportation, or field operations supervision.
  • Strong understanding of route planning and operational scheduling.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding operations is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Greek and English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make real-time decisions.
