Economou international Greece, is seeking a qualified and experienced Operator/ Port Agent, for head office in Kallithea - Athens

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and monitors the agency appointments
• Constantly monitor  the turnarounds of vessels serviced

and be in direct contact with terminals and local vendors

• Carries out relevant formalities at port and customs authorities
• Coordinates supplies, embarkation/ disembarkation of crew members, inspectors, and surveyors/ CTM delivery
• Follow up / respond inquiries/ e-mails are timely responded,
• Be in contact with clients and relevant parties, informing and advising on inquiries
• Keeping clients posted with vessel's berthing prospects, turnarounds, and any issues that arise
• Coordinates vessels' operations in ports covered by our agency

The ideal profile should have following

• Professional experience as Port Agent and/or Operator
• With knowledge of local requirements, regulations, and local authorities
• Have 2-4 years' experience as Port Agent and/or Operator
• With ability to work under pressure and build contingency plans
• Have a very good MS Office knowledge, especially MS word & MS Excel
• Proficient use of English language, both oral and written
