Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Air Freight Forwarding team as an Air Freight Coordinator. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of import shipments for clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with customers and suppliers. They will also be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Verify documentation and shipment details to ensure readiness for air freight import/export shipments.
  • Coordinate bookings with airlines, agents, and correspondents, providing accurate flight and loading instructions to carriers.
  • Ensure accuracy within the company's ERP system.
  • Generate and distribute required air freight documents, such as airway bills, delivery orders, and customs declarations.
  • Oversee the issuance and management of invoices related to air freight shipments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business administration, or other related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in Operations or a relevant position.
  • Previous experience in the Air freight forwarding industry is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Orian ERP will be considered a plus.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
