We are looking for a German Content Moderator to join our team at CBT in Greece.

About the Role

This is a full-time onsite position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and fluency in German. As a Content Moderator, you will play a key role in ensuring that user-generated content meets community guidelines and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate should have native or near-native fluency in German, as well as good working knowledge of English for internal communication and collaboration. Previous experience in content moderation, community management, or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content to ensure it adheres to company policies and legal standards.
  • Assess content for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with community guidelines.
  • Identify and remove harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content across various platforms (text, images, videos).
  • Provide regular reports and insights on content trends, issues, and escalations to management.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure content meets company standards.
  • Maintain data integrity by logging and tracking content moderation accurately within internal systems.
Requirements
  • Language Skills:
    • German (C2 level) - Native or near-native fluency required for content review and communication with the team.
    • English (B2 or higher) - Good working knowledge required for internal communication and collaboration.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in content moderation, community management, or a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to identify sensitive and inappropriate content quickly and accurately.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing content trends and identifying potential risks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to remain calm and objective when dealing with sensitive content.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
