Security Solutions Consultant

The Security Solutions Consultant is responsible for collaborating with customers and channel partners to understand their unique security needs. This involves leveraging Obrela's world-class cybersecurity solutions and services to promote the company's comprehensive portfolio. By offering tailored recommendations and subject matter expertise, the consultant ensures that customers achieve optimal security outcomes.

Working alongside various teams within Obrela, the Security Solutions Consultant plays a crucial role in developing leads, qualifying opportunities, and supporting multiple bids. The goal is to deliver exceptional value and foster strong, rewarding relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Customers and Partners: Engage with sales teams, customers, and partners to gather customer requirements, identify suitable Obrela solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition.
• Support the Sales Cycle: Deliver technical briefings, presentations, demonstrations, and responses to RFI/RFPs to support the sales cycle.
• Develop Sales Opportunities: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by building and nurturing technical relationships.
• Engage in Security Architecture: Participate in security architecture discussions with customers and partners to design tailored solutions, offering strategic advice and recommendations.
• Provide Compliance Guidance: Assist customers in understanding compliance and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity, ensuring proposed solutions align with industry standards and legal obligations.
• Present Technical and Business Perspectives: Present Obrela services from both technical and business perspectives, managing expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
• Qualify Sales Opportunities: Work with the sales team to qualify sales opportunities, including RFI/RFPs, providing expert analysis and recommendations.
• Support the Bidding Process: Assist in the bidding process by qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, responding to RFI/RFPs, writing proposals, and coordinating with the service delivery team.
• Ensure Smooth Transitions: Ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to service delivery, maintaining a trusted advisor role to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales engineering/presales in technology, information security or managed service industry.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales engineering/presales in Managed Security Services, Managed Detection & Response, SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR, Cloud Security, security controls and practices.
• Knowledgeable about the UK and European market, customers' security requirements, adopted technologies, industry regulations and business drivers.
• Strong experience in assessing customer requirements, articulating solution design, and managing bids from opportunity qualification to contract award.
• Highly motivated, target-oriented individual able to follow through on commitments and deliver results with the right quality and in a timely fashion.
• Interpersonal skills with high energy to create and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Collaboration skills to establish effective working team relationships with multiple teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, Sales tools, and Collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher (Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant field).
• Master's degree in cyber security will be considered as a plus.
• One or more certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSP, PCI, QSA, CEH, product certifications would be highly advantageous.
• Greek Native speaker / C2 Proficiency
• Fluent written & verbal communication skills in English B2 or higher.
• Ability to travel up to 40% and frequently on short notice.
