Role Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of the chart of accounts, account analysis, and financial reporting within the Real Estate sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate bookkeeping, overseeing accounting processes, preparing financial statements, and providing reliable financial information to management.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update accounting records in compliance with Greek Accounting Standards (ELP) and relevant legislation.

Map and manage accounts (chart of accounts, detailed monitoring of revenues/expenses, account reconciliations).

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (management reporting) for senior management and investors.

Perform reconciliations of banks, petty cash, suppliers, customers, and other accounts.

Monitor and record real estate–related transactions (leases, contracts, rental income, property expenses, maintenance costs, depreciation).

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with external auditors.

Manage VAT returns, rental tax filings, and other tax obligations.

Optimize accounting procedures and contribute to the development of reporting systems.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Real Estate or Asset Management company.

Excellent knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP), the chart of accounts, and account analysis.

Experience in preparing financial reports (MIS, KPIs).

Strong command of accounting software (e.g., Epsilon, SoftOne, SAP).

Good knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas).

Ability to work under deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

Good command of English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in multi-company environments or SPV structures.

Understanding of real estate financial metrics (yield, IRR, occupancy, etc.).

Experience with ERP systems or lease management software.
