, a well-established greek company active in the construction and real estate development sector, known for delivering high-quality projects and managing complex operations, is looking for a
Senior Accountant
to join their team. The organization offers a structured, professional environment with opportunities for development in advanced accounting and financial management within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations for construction projects.
  • Track contractor agreements, certifications, invoicing, and project payments.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project financial reports and monitor project budgets.
  • Manage tax compliance, payroll-related reconciliations, and supplier/subcontractor payments.
  • Ensure accurate ERP (SoftOne) entries and maintain organized documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and banks to validate project progress and approvals.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and external reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably experience in a construction company.
  • Strong knowledge of project-based accounting, certifications, and contractor contracts.
  • Good understanding of tax rules and payroll-related reconciliations.
  • Excellent command of Excel; experience with SoftOne is a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and reliability.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
