The opportunity

This is a full-time role located in Athens for a
Senior
Accountant
. The successful candidate will join our accounting team and be responsible for efficiently managing daily accounting tasks, adhering to company policies and procedures.

What you need to do

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Prepare Tax Compliance reports, income Tax and VAT returns.
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
  • Prepare and implement payroll operations.
  • Participate in the monthly financial closing process, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations.
  • Monitor and manage MYDATA.
  • Monitor receivables and payables.
  • Contribute to Financials Tax audits and assist resolve any issues.
  • Work closely with Finance Manager to implement financial policies and procedures.

What you need to have

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; MSc degree will be considered as a plus.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and familiarity with Entersoft ERP will be considered a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work well with deadlines and be dependable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in Greek & English (oral and written).
