Eurolife FFH Insurance Group is seeking to recruit a Senior Tax Accountant. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality tax compliance services for the operating entities of Eurolife FFH Insurance Group. You will work closely with the internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations while gaining exposure to a wide range of tax matters in an insurance business environment.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Senior Tax Accountant, your tasks will include the following:

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing tax returns and filings for all operating entities (corporate income, withholding taxes, VAT, premium taxes, Digital transaction duties, premium taxes and property taxes).

  • End-to-end assistance and monitoring of myDATA compliance and operations.

  • Support tax planning activities and contribute in identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

  • Research tax issues and monitor legislative changes to ensure compliance and assess their impact on the business.

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and accounting teams to provide accurate tax data and documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation of income tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and disclosures for financial statements.

  • Support tax audits by compiling documentation and liaising with tax authorities under guidance from senior team members.

  • Contribute in the preparation of the Transfer Pricing Documentation.

  • Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax compliance.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports in line with applicable regulations.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master degree is desirable but not mandatory.

  • 3–5 years accounting experience with a focus on corporate tax compliance.

  • Good understanding of local tax laws and regulations.

  • Excellent command of English.

  • Strong computer literacy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
