About the Role

Vision Greece, a growing hospitality management company, is seeking an experienced
Senior Accountant
to join its finance team at the Omonia Hotel.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the hospitality industry, strong analytical skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to work.

Main Responsibilities

·       Perform daily cashier closings (F&B and hotel).

·       Record and file operating expenses, cash inflows/outflows, and fixed assets.

·       Prepare and process payments, verifying supporting documentation.

·       Reconcile account discrepancies and supplier balances.

·       Contribute to monthly financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.

·       Maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements.

·       Manage vendor invoices and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.

·       Support the year-end audit process by preparing required documentation and addressing auditor queries.

·       Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy.

·       Uphold confidentiality and professional ethics in all accounting matters.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality accounting.

·       Previous experience in luxury hotels or international hospitality groups will be considered an asset.

·       Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

·       Excellent command of MS Excel and accounting software.

·       Strong communication and negotiation skills.

·       Very good command of the English language.

·       High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
