You will have the mandate to ensure a smooth customer experience from top-of-funnel sales engagements through contract signing, and you will build the templatized tools and processes that will enable the company to continue to effectively scale.

The role reports to the Director Sales Engineer.

  • Manage scope alignment, identify gaps, and roadmap commitments between Sales and Product.
  • Maintain product databases by routinely engaging with product vendors to ensure the team is using up to date pricing and is aware of product availability.
  • Conceptualize and design the overall system architecture of the proposed solution in terms of plant network, plant control and data acquisition functions and integration with other systems, delivery substation protection as well as remote platforms. Close cooperation with Delivery, IT and Product teams is assumed.
  • Enter customers and project information into CRM, manage templates and document repositories.
  • Deliver sales presentations with a keen awareness and deep understanding of the audience's desired outcomes and pain points and how the Power Factors' offering addresses them.
  • Represent Power Factors at industry events and trade shows.
  • Schedule and host project hand-off meetings with internal teams responsible for scope execution, including Engineering and Customer Success teams.
  • Quickly jump into complex problems and navigate competing priorities to drive solutions, using a combination of interpersonal and technical skillsets.
  • Contribute to company process improvement and documentation.

  • Familiarity with drawing tools (CAD, Sketchup, Visio, or others) and experience drafting diagrams to facilitate sales conversations.
  • Proven track record of successful performance in fast-paced environments coupled with the skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Fluent in English with clear and concise written and oral communication.
  • Ability to think technically and manage both details and the big picture.
  • Skilled in connecting with all relevant audiences within an organization with the right message and detail.
