About the Role

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Sales Mechanical Engineer to support our agricultural machinery and equipment business. In this role, you will combine engineering knowledge with sales expertise to deliver innovative solutions that improve productivity and efficiency for farmers, distributors, and agribusiness clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agricultural clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Understand customer needs in farming operations and recommend appropriate mechanical solutions.
  • Promote, present, and sell agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, and related equipment.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, site visits, and technical consultations.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure customized solutions and reliable after-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and technological advancements in the agriculture sector.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agriculture.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or technical support within agriculture or heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural machinery, irrigation, hydraulics, or power transmission systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage client accounts, and travel frequently.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of precision agriculture technologies and sustainable farming practices.
  • Experience working with tractors, harvesters, tillage equipment, or irrigation solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
