For its activity in the Central-South of Greece (Tanagra Plant), is looking for:

On Site Production Units Engineer (Mechanical/Chemical)

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepares the technical offer for standard project
  • Supports the design and project implementation within budget and planning
  • Supervising the sub-contractors to do the work according to procedures & standards
  • Promotes the zero incident goal
  • Knows and respects procedures & standards
  • Ensures quality and safety procedures
  • Prepares reports and ensures coordination - interfaces with customers
  • Manages and records the maintenance processes
  • Defines and follows KPIs
  • Defines process improvements and effective maintenance operations
  • Manages workforce and sub-contractors
  • Supervising the production processes of the units installed at customer sites
  • Ensuring work is done in a safe, efficient manner
  • Organize any needed corrective maintenance
  • Manage the stock of spare parts and organize the supply of any missing parts with the support of the procurement team

Knowledge and experience

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering
  • Knowledge of preventive & corrective maintenance operations, (basic electrical and strong mechanical & chemical knowledge)
  • Technical know-how, good understanding of operations and the safety procedures
  • Analyze accurately trends & problems, cause-effects relationship
  • Chemical & physical gases properties and gases production processes
  • Very good technical background
  • Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance activities
  • Strong mechanical and chemical knowledge
  • Knowledge of electricity, pneumatic systems, instrumentation and PLC is a plus
  • Experience with CAD software, MS Office
  • Able to manage the complete overhaul of a unit and/or a new project
