We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Team Leader.

Our client is a leading company delivering advanced engineering and construction projects across industrial and energy sectors.

The ideal candidate will lead the mechanical engineering team, coordinate project design and execution, and ensure high-quality delivery of mechanical systems, combining technical expertise with leadership and project management skills.

​​​​Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a mechanical engineering team of 3-5 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Coordinate mechanical design and engineering activities across projects, ensuring alignment with schedules, technical specifications, and project objectives.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants at all project stages to facilitate smooth design, execution, and installation of mechanical systems.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Participate in the installation, commissioning, and handover of mechanical equipment on project sites.
  • Review and validate technical drawings, specifications, and designs throughout all project phases.
  • Organize, supervise, and participate in MEP commissioning, quality control, and safety procedures.
  • Update, review, and implement maintenance and safety procedures for operational facilities.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for delivered mechanical systems.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. MSc considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in a team leadership role within mechanical engineering or construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and project execution.
  • Familiarity with MEP commissioning and quality control procedures on complex projects.
  • Proficiency in design and engineering software, including AutoCAD. Knowledge of MS Project, Revit, or other engineering tools is considered a plus.
  • Excellent command of Greek & English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, including excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to adapt and apply new technologies in construction processes.
