Diagnostiki Athinon is Greece's leading clinical laboratory, focusing on Functional and Preventive Medicine. We provide a comprehensive range of over 2,000 clinical tests, including Biochemical, Hematological, Hormonal, Immunological, Microbiological, and Molecular diagnostics. Our goal is to deliver innovative, high-quality diagnostic services to healthcare professionals and patients. We support clinical decisions that enhance health outcomes by maintaining quick turnaround times, offering competitive prices, and providing tailored result interpretations.

Role Summary

We are looking for a professional and organized Administrative Secretary to join our team in Athens. This full-time, on-site role at our front desk involves ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent patient service, and maintaining effective communication within the laboratory. The position requires a rotating schedule, including two Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations and create a welcoming environment for patients and visitors
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and appointments
  • Maintain accurate records and proper documentation of patient files
  • Support the coordination of laboratory workflows and communication between departments
  • Assist in preparing reports and administrative documents
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality, quality, and organizational standards
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Technician, Administration, Paramedical Sciences, or a related field
  • Prior experience in a medical, clinical, or customer service setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Greek and English
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Access)
  • The ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential. Maintain a professional demeanor and be committed to patient-centered service
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including two Saturdays per month, is required.
