Menarini Hellas, an international pharmaceutical company, seeks to recruit a dynamic professional for the Compliance Dpt.

Position scope:

To support the implementation and maintenance of a robust culture of compliance and ethical conduct across the Menarini Hellas affiliate. This role will dedicate its time to supporting the Compliance Manager Greece with all compliance matters for the Greek affiliate. This role may involve occasional business travel.

Reporting Line:

Reports directly to Compliance Manager.

  • Health & Regulatory Authorities (EOF, Ministry of Health (MOH), EOPPY, Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE))
  • Health authorities and organizations
  • Headquarters

Key accountabilities are:

The Compliance Specialist will support the following key areas of the compliance programme in Greece, working under the direction of the Compliance Manager (CM) Greece:

General Support:

  • Provide administrative and operational support for compliance initiatives in Greece.
  • Assist in coordinating compliance activities between the local team and Menarini Compliance.
  • Help maintain compliance-related documentation, databases, and tracking systems.

Business Support:

  • Assist the CM in providing guidance to business functions.
  • Support the review of materials and activities for compliance with relevant codes and regulations under supervision.
  • Help address compliance-related queries from business teams, escalating more complex issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in monitoring adherence to business partners' contractual requirements related to compliance matters.

Compliance Risk Assessment Support:

  • Assist in gathering data and information for the local Compliance Risk Assessment in Greece.
  • Support the tracking of risk mitigation measures.

Policies and Procedures Implementation:

  • Support the effective dissemination and understanding of Global policies and procedures within the Greek affiliate.
  • Assist in tracking the local implementation of internal controls.
  • Contribute to the documentation of local processes and controls.

Training and Communication Support:

  • Assist in the oversight of completion of compliance training for employees in Greece.
  • Help prepare and distribute communication materials regarding the Compliance programme and its requirements.

Tools and Systems:

  • Support the use of compliance-related systems as directed.

Compliance Monitoring Support:

  • Assist in the execution of local monitoring activities according to established plans and methodologies.
  • Help develop, track, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
  • Assist in preparing documentation for monitoring reports.

Investigation and Response Support:

  • Support initiatives to foster a & quot; speak-up" culture and awareness of whistleblowing channels.

Information and Reporting Support:

  • Help gather and compile information for compliance-related reporting to Global, Regional, or local stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for local Transparency reporting processes as required by Greek law and the SFEE Code.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • University level degree, preferably in law, business administration, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in a compliance, legal, audit, regulatory, or related role, ideally within the life sciences sector in Greece.
  • A foundational understanding of Greek pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and industry codes (e.g., the SFEE Code of Practice, EOF regulations, Greek laws on anti-bribery, transparency, and the promotion of medicines).
  • Experience with internal controls/monitoring.
  • Analytical Skills & Attention to Detail: Strong ability to analyze information accurately and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ethical Conduct & Integrity: Demonstrates high ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English are essential.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive & eager to Learn: A proactive approach, efficiency, and a strong desire to learn and develop in the compliance field.
  • Team Player & Collaborative: Works effectively within a team and collaborates well with diverse stakeholders.
  • Resilience & Adaptability: Demonstrates reliability and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintains impeccable professional conduct.
