Position Summary

The Assistant will support the implementation and daily operations of the 
HoMER Project (Housing, Mediation and Education for Refugees)

, ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and effective coordination of activities. In addition, the role involves assisting with 
fundraising and donor research

, preparing 
statistical and analytical reports

, and identifying potential 
funding opportunities

to strengthen and sustain the program. Learn more about the project here:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support for the implementation of the housing and integration components of the HoMER Project.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze program data (e.g., beneficiaries, housing units, expenses) using 
    Microsoft Excel
     and other data management tools.
  • Prepare 
    statistical analyses, charts, and reports
     related to housing indicators, occupancy rates, budgets, and funding sources.
  • Support 
    fundraising and donor mapping
     efforts, identifying potential donors, grants, and partnership opportunities.
  • Assist in drafting 
    funding proposals, donor reports, and external communication materials
    .
  • Collaborate with the management teams to monitor expenditures and prepare 
    budget updates
    .
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with 
    data protection regulations
     and organizational policies.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between 
    field teams, donors, and partner organizations
    , as required.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in 
    Social Sciences, Economics, Business Administration
    , or a related field.
  • Strong command of 
    Microsoft Excel
     (formulas, Pivot Tables, data analysis, charts).
  • Proven ability to 
    collect, manage, and analyse data
     for reporting and program improvement.
  • Good understanding of 
    fundraising principles
     and 
    donor engagement processes
    .
  • Excellent command of 
    English
     (written and spoken).
  • Strong 
    organizational, analytical, and communication
     skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in 
    multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
    .

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in 
    NGOs
    , humanitarian, or social inclusion projects.
  • Knowledge of 
    Power BI
     or other data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting 
    grant proposal development
     or donor reporting.
  • Commitment to 
    humanitarian principles
     and sensitivity to 
    refugee and migration issues
    .
