Role title: District Manager Prepay External Channel (External)

Function: Consumer Commercial- Retail Sales

Sub-function: External Channels

Reports to: External Channels Manager

Location: Athens Greece

Role purpose
:

The District Manager develops, applies, executes and monitors the commercial development of the area under his/her responsibility. Establishes and meets company's commercial objectives for sales and profit performance and ensures customer experience delivery through external prepay sales agent's channel.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
:

  • Grow, manage, and maximize sales in existing team of external prepay sales agents.
  • Setting the targets for prepay distribution through Vodafone shops and strategic sales growth

·      Share responsibility for P&L, net profits, profit calculation & reporting based on Vodafone standards (franchise shops & Vodafone)

·      Assist in the analysis of financial information. Monitor and evaluate shop and dealers' results, and provide the relevant feedback and support for corrective actions

  • Execute promotional plans for assigned territory and work with marketing team to develop promotional activities

·      Influence dealers / franchisees on present and future Vodafone Strategy

·      Build strong relationships with franchisees, team leaders and external sales agents  focusing on guiding, influencing and supporting employees

·      Educate dealers  on critical components of the Business environment

·      Demonstrate to Team leaders and dealers a range from basic to advanced business management issues and action plans.

·      Knowledge of market and consumer trends. Gather insights from the market and use them to improve commercial effectiveness (products & services)

·      Able to collaborate successfully with all commercial teams and functional leads (Sales-Marketing).

·      Be a genuinely inspiring consultant, energized to motivate team leaders and external prepay sales agents and dealers to abide by company's vision and goals.

·      Lead by example by servicing Vodafone Consumer customers in an excellent way.

Must have technical / professional qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Master's Degree would be considered as a plus
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·      A total of 5 years previous work experience including 3 years in Retail Sales, preferred industry telecoms
