On behalf of our client, an established company that provides water and wastewater pumping solutions to people, industries, and utilities, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both user equipment and core IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all systems.

A day in the life of the IT Support Engineer.

As an IT Support Engineer the candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operation of computer systems, network infrastructure and related technology that supports their business operations. The IT Support Engineer will provide prompt technical support to employees and ensure that all reported issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner

Key Responsibilities

User Equipment Setup & Support

  • Setup and management of user devices (PCs, Macs)
  • Installation, formatting, and configuration of systems
  • Troubleshooting of printers, phones, software, and hardware

IT Infrastructure Management & Issue Resolution

  • Manage and troubleshoot internal IT infrastructure including:
  • Windows Servers & Windows/Linux VMs
  • Firewalls, switches, access points, and structured cabling

System Monitoring & Compliance

  • Ensure proper operation of IT infrastructure through:
  • Preventive maintenance and system checks
  • Compliance with ISO 27001 security standards

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage users, groups, mail flow rules, Exchange admin settings, and other Microsoft 365 services

Domain & Security Management

  • Administration of Domain Controllers and Active Directory
  • ESET antivirus console management: users, alerts, exception handling

User Support & Vendor Liaison

  • Provide daily support to end users for hardware/software issues
  • Communicate with vendors and service providers (e.g., telecom, software, IP telephony, IT infrastructure, security/alarm systems)

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • At least 1+ years as an IT Support
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset
  • Abstract thinking and responsibility in handling technical tasks
  • Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Driver's license(MUST HAVE)
    , as it will be required to drive between the company's buildings in Kifissia, from time to time

Nice to Have

Experience in:

  • Network administration and network security
  • Troubleshooting and technical customer support
  • Working in ISO 27001-compliant environments
