Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full lifecycle of integrating Public Group systems and applications through the development of microservices.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of developing internal applications using a Microservices architecture.
• Work closely with other Public Group units to identify their technical needs and provide solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of related experience
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
• Experience with Java 8/11/17+ and Spring Boot Framework
• Good knowledge of Architecture and Design principles and their applications
• Experience with SQL Databases
• Familiar with NoSQL Databases
• Should have strong exposure of hibernate, JPA, J2EE, SQL or NoSQL queries
• Familiar integrating with Rest API's and WebServices
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Experience with GIT for version control and code collaboration
• Capable of problem identification and resolution
• Experience in solving technical issues with thorough research and investigation
• Team work and great communication skills
• Excellent command of the English language

Desirable Qualifications:

• Familiar with Integration/Unit Testing
• Knowledge of Openshift or Kubernetes
• Familiar with MongoDB
• Familiar with asynchronous communication using technologies such as ActiveMQ/RabbitMq
• Passionate for good results, dynamic and enthusiastic
• High sense of responsibility
• Participation in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
• Experience with JIRA
