Responsibilities:

• Propose & develop new methodologies and institute best practices to further enhance system efficiency
• Leads in designing and building new scalable and future-proof applications that effectively accomplish objectives
• Remodel and adapt applications in order to optimize performance
• Maintain, extend and support ETL/integration procedures (MS SSIS flows, MSSQL Stored procedures)
• Debugging and extensive testing of software applications
• Participate in root cause analysis of issues, provide technical assessment (i.e., outage break-down, quality assurance metrics) in order to prevent/eliminate recurrences and proceed with debugging & fixing
• Vendor management
• Connect with business users to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications or user stories

Requirements:

• Proven working experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV development Proven track record of working in SQL environment (T-SQL Code, SSIS), knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Proficient in opensource languages/frameworks (preferably Angular) and .NET
• Good knowledge and understanding of API interfaces/Web Services implementations (REST, SOAP)
• Learn and adapt to new technologies in a timely fashion
• Experience with various user requirements elicitation techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English

Desirable Qualifications:

• Previous operational experience working in a fast-paced Retail or Digital environment will be highly valued
• Experience working with Atlassian products
• Familiar with Agile, lean development methodologies highly preferred
• Team player, self-starter & ownership-taker, innovative thinking
• Bachelor or master's degree in Information Technology
