The Position:

We are looking for an
Data Engineer
, based in Headquarters in Kifissia, Athens, reporting to
Data & Analytics Manager
, you will be responsible and accountable for:

you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databrick
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources
  • Collaborate with data analysts, front-end developers, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric for unified data management and analytics across environments
  • Write efficient and reliable code using SQL and PySpark to process large volumes of data
  • Apply best practices in data governance, security, and pipeline monitoring

Qualifications & Competencies required:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field will be considered as an asset)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar job position.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PySpark
  • Experience with data lake and data warehouse architectures (e.g., ADLS, Lakehouse)
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset
  • Achievement drive, initiative taking and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to learn and embrace new technologies

Qualifications considered as an asset:

  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate)
  • Experience with CI/CD practices for data pipeline deployments
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
  • Familiarity with Power BI
