, one of Greece's leading industrial companies in the printing and packaging sector, is currently seeking to hire a
Junior Procurement Officer
to join the Procurement Department.

Basic Mission:

As a Junior Procurement Officer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the supply chain to identify, and source materials, goods, and services required by the company.

You will be responsible for entering purchase orders into the MIS/ERP system, maintaining communication with suppliers for new requests, monitoring order progress, controlling pricing, and verifying payment terms.

Additionally, you will support the Procurement Department by updating and maintaining KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing & sending Purchasing orders to suppliers.
  • Order entry for all necessary materials in system as well as for services.
  • Creation & processing of files, necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
  • Daily monitoring of pending orders and communication with suppliers.
  • Checking documents and comparing them with purchase orders.
  • Preparation of packing list for the receipt of paper-cardboard PO's.
  • Registration of receipts if it is needed.

Desired Knowledge, Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferable.
  • Ability to manage and solve problems by communicating internally and with suppliers and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of English. Additional languages preferred.
  • Team spirit, kind and dynamic personality.

Working Conditions:

  • Indefinite Employment Agreement
  • Full time
  • 5 day work: Monday-Friday
