About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Piraeus. The ideal candidate will be a Chemical Engineer with a sharp commercial mindset, strong analytical and communication skills, and a passion for research and sourcing. This is a full-time, on-site position
.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research on suppliers, raw materials, and finished goods.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and product specifications to support informed purchasing decisions.
  • Assist in the development of procurement strategies that ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
  • Engage in direct communication with suppliers' technical teams regarding samples, materials, and specifications.
  • Negotiate and close cost-effective purchasing agreements.
  • Participate in sourcing new products and identifying industry trends.
  • Support the team in administrative and logistical procurement tasks.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication, research, and negotiation skills.
  • Well-organized, team-oriented, with a positive and proactive mindset.
  • Willingness to travel when needed.
  • Fulfilled military service obligations (for male candidates).
