Description

We at Nova, are a very young and dynamic team, the 2nd largest telecom provider in Greece, looking for vibrant and fast thinking "Technical Procurement Specialist" to be part of our successful team in our "Technical Procurement Team". 

You have a challenging mission for: 

Develop strategic sourcing activities by fully incorporating the company's priorities, leveraging economies of scale, specifications clarity, selection criteria setting, RFP issuance, evaluation, negotiations & contracting focusing on long term value creation & TCO

What will you do: 

  • Develop or enhance reports & dashboards towards monitoring and analyzing KPIs across product portfolio. 
  • Conduct procurement market research for new suppliers (locally and internationally) considering marketing dynamics for a wide range of materials, platforms, leased lines, services, support.
  • Liaises with internal teams , mainly of Technology and IT , for serving their purchasing needs
  • Participate in technical workshops to follow technology evolution
  • Build & grow sustainable win-win relationships with suppliers & monitor their performance on a regularly basis, according to company's required standards and contract terms (based on a set of criteria such as technical specifications, price, quality, service, availability, capabilities)
  • Creates reports for the management team according to procurement's procedures

It would be great if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least 4 years previous working experience specifically in technical procurement including contract negotiations
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications with an emphasis on Excel & working knowledge of ERP/SAP
  • Being flexible / adaptable to company's priorities & market need
  • Excellent communication and negation skills with the ability to build trustworthy relationships
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and problem resolving mentality
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset
  • Transparency and ethos
