Our Client, Sysmex Greece I.K.E. is part of the Sysmex Group – an international manufacturer and provider of innovative analytical instruments and services for laboratory diagnostics with headquarters in Japan. With around 10,000 employees worldwide, Sysmex has been a pioneer in hematology and in vitro diagnostics for over 50 years.

In line with its long-term European growth strategy, Sysmex Corporation has recently established Sysmex Greece I.K.E. as a new wholly owned subsidiary. This move marks a significant milestone in the company's efforts to strengthen its presence in key European markets. Although Sysmex has been active in Greece for more than 30 years via local distributors and business partners, the new entity will now allow the company to directly serve the Greek market through sales and customer care operations.

Finance Lead (f/m/x)

Your Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Collaborate closely with the South West management team to provide financial insights, analysis, processes, and recommendations
  • Responsible for budget and forecast processes (P&L, balance sheet and cashflow)
  • Support the Sales Team with contract calculations and profitability analysis
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on financial performance to support strategic and operational decision making

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local and group guidelines and regulations (IFRS)
  • Maintain and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration between the external accounting provider, South West regional management and EMEA headquarters
  • Supervise daily accounting activities and ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting

Your Experience & expertise:

  • University degree in a relevant field or a comparable qualification
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with colleagues and stakeholders
