Job Summary:
 The MIS Reporting Analyst will assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of management information systems to support banking operations. This role involves data analysis, report generation, and providing insights using Excel and SQL to help the organisation meet its regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various banking systems.

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports using Excel and SQL.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports.

  • System Maintenance and Development:

  • Maintain and update MIS databases and reporting tools.

  • Assist in the enhancement of reporting systems and processes.
  • Work closely with different departments to understand their reporting needs.
  • Communicate findings and insights to team members and management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or MIS reporting, preferably within a banking or related sector provider.

  • Skilled in Excel and basic knowledge of SQL, VBA.

  • Fundamental understanding of common banking products (i.e. Loans, LGs, Bonds, FX, etc.)

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with banking software, systems and the core banking data model.
  • Basic proficiency in data visualization tools.
