Operating worldwide, SDSD combines maritime knowledge with modern digital tools to support efficiency, compliance, and growth in the shipping sector.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new client opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Work with the marketing team to secure new client projects for vessel database creation including developing promotional materials and campaigns targeting database services.
  • Leverage your experience in the industry to identify potential new projects and partners.
  • Understand clients' database needs and challenges and effectively communicate how our services can address them.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of our database services and address any concerns or objections raised by clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 
    3–5 years of proven experience
     in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the 
    maritime industry
    .
  • Direct experience in 
    maritime database building
    , vessel data services, or related maritime digital solutions.
  • Strong 
    network and connections
     with shipowners, ship managers, classification societies, marine technology providers, or other maritime-related companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to 
    generate new business opportunities
     and successfully close deals.
  • Track record of 
    meeting or exceeding sales targets
    .
