Senior Travel Designer (Incoming) – Original Senses Greece

The Senior Travel Designer position involves curating personalized travel itineraries based on specific client requirements. It requires elevated interpersonal skills to inspire and build relationships of trust both with the client/travel agents, as well as with local suppliers, and the entire industry. Creativity, open-mindedness, organization, empathy, listening, problem solving, and strategic thinking are paramount to efficiently performing all below responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service resulting in repeat business and referrals
  • Work collaboratively to develop and strengthen the relationship with clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients
  • Design & manage travel itineraries around the country
  • Provide destination and experience insight through personal research and company led inspections.
  • Address client issues and concerns. Represent the company professionally by offering competent advice and working directly with suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Respond quickly and proactively to client requests.
  • Follow company procedures in areas of customer service, booking systems, documentation, pricing, insurance, invoicing, etc.
  • Understand "what works" in the market, and become intimately familiar with the destinations, products and services that will appeal to your customers
  • Contribute to a culture of corporate loyalty, success, and ongoing goal achievement
  • Meet or exceed annual sales revenue target.
  • Increase sales through developing and maintaining a network of clients and understanding their needs.
  • Nurture and protect the corporate DNA

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant role (preferably at a DMC)
  • Fluency in English and Greek
  • Solid skills in presentation software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Upbeat attitude and team player
  • Critical thinking skills to resolve customer issues
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Knowledge of travel destinations within Greece
