Insiders Travel Experiences
is a growing Travel Company based in Athens. We offer private tours and tailored itineraries based on Greek history, mythology, culture, and gastronomy. Our visitors are independent travelers seeking extraordinary and fascinating holidays with a local flavor.

Who is the ideal candidate?

We are looking for a sales-driven travel specialist who is passionate about both traveling and providing excellent customer service.

We are looking for a team player who will be responsible for responding to travel requests, creating itineraries, and generating sales.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and follow up on incoming travel requests
  • Design tailor-made itineraries based on travelers' inquiries including all necessary services (transports, activities, accommodations)
  • Handle calls with potential customers
  • Contact suppliers to ensure the availability of services
  • Handle complaints from customers in a professional manner
  • Stay up to date on changes in the travel industry
  • Develop & recommend changes to existing methods & procedures to increase the accuracy, efficiency & responsiveness of the company as a whole

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • At least 1 year of experience in travel planning
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Chrome, Gmail, and Microsoft Excel
  • A Bachelor's degree (preferably in Tourism/ Business Administration or any quantitative subject)
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Focus on detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage change and work under pressure
