We are looking for a Production Manager.

Our client is a production company, part of a multinational group, which operates within the field of premium food products.

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire production process in order to achieve maximum productivity and product quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Member of the food safety team.
  • Provides theoretical and practical training for newly hired or transferred employees in the department, based on documented specific procedures and instructions that describe the responsibilities of the job position.
  • Provides technical support on new technologies to department employees in collaboration with the Technical Department, if deemed necessary.
  • Identifies the training requirements of the Production Department personnel.
  • Evaluates the training and updates provided to the Production Department employees.
  • Co-responsible for drafting procedures, work instructions, and quality forms.
  • Prepares, manages, and reviews the Production Schedule.
  • Checks production orders, raw material orders, and their consumption in the ERP system.
  • Ensures proper maintenance of related production records.
  • Coordinates and oversees daily tasks to maximize productivity.
  • Identifies and records problems or areas for improvement.
  • Investigates problems and deviations, identifying root causes.
  • Implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintains production key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participates in the product design process.
  • Monitors the proper functioning of production machinery throughout the production process and promptly informs the General Plant Manager of any issues.
  • Supervises the maintenance and repair of machinery.
  • Improves the department's operations and production processes.
  • Complies with the company's Safety Policy.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Manager, ideally in the food industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in technical matters related to production management and experience in reporting key production metrics.
  • Essential experience in matters related to Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Desirable experience in industrial equipment maintenance and food technology issues.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting principles.
  • Health certificate.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP software.
  • Exceptional communication skills. ​​​
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a results-oriented approach.
