House Of Shila is looking for a sharp associate for its boutique hotel, Shila,

located in the center of Athens. With an impeccable sense of hospitality and

attention to detail, the ideal candidate will undertake hosting duties at our

unique residence. We are looking for someone who will be able to appreciate

and demonstrate the high craftsmanship, art, and design qualities of our

projects, while attending to an eclectic clientele, ensuring all operations are carried through with exceptional manners.

The innovative concept of the property requires multitasking. The suitable candidate is resourceful and has a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating a pleasant and positive professional image at all times to both guests and the rest of the team
  • Performing properly and efficiently all relevant front office procedures: check in, check out, billing, cash/ credit card handling, telephone operation, data entry,filling, reporting,Checking and resolving any discrepancies in the system.
  • Collaborating closely with all Hotel Dept. and handle day to day Hotel Operations (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B sharing or acquiring important information about special guest requests and needs etc)
  • Demonstrating excellent Knowledge and understanding of all Hotels Services and activities in order to achieve selling and upselling goals.
  • Maintain the in-house reservations systems & Involvement with room sales
  • Ensure constant delivery of excellent guest experience & customer service (80% of the respective working hours has to do with customer service and 20% with back-office receptionist responsibilities.)
  • Night Auditor if necessary and required

Requirements:

  • 1+ year(s) experience as a front desk agent
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Hospitality / Tourism Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for service.
  • Proficient in standard hotel front office procedures and systems.
  • Ability to handle and resolve issues independently while maintaining high service standards. Proficiency in Greek and English.
  • Ability to work effectively with all hotel departments to provide seamless service, including Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS), reservations platforms, and other common software
