Position Overview

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in Athens Greece.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Position will be located in Athens
  • Development, maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, commissioning and start-up of automation systems (PLC & HMI)
  • Development, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, commissioning and start-up of drive applications (AC and DC)
  • Customized trainings on site in automation and drive applications
  • Increase i-base transparency and find opportunities for services
  • Promote service portfolio during site visits

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience in automation applications at industrial environment as a must
  • PLC programming in development (not maintenance) environment. Tia Portal is a must. Simatic Manager is a big plus.
  • HMI programming. WinCC v7/8 is a big plus.
  • Eagerness to learn. Continuous improvement mentality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and provide solutions on time
  • Self driven, team worker
  • Fluent in both English and Greek (German language knowledge a plus)
  • Dynamic and resilient with Strong work ethic, organizational skills and customer orientation
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel
