Job Brief

We are searching for a handy and seasoned field engineer with extensive experience working on-site, directing on-site functions, and enhancing efficiency and customer service. Your technical expertise will assist our organization in increasing client satisfaction, improving efficiency, managing risk, diagnosing problems, and complying with laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent technical skills, be a good communicator, and pay meticulous attention to detail. The exceptional field engineer should diagnose and resolve problems, improve efficiency, mitigate risk, encourage business growth, and enhance and sustain relations with clients.

Field Engineer Responsibilities

  • Performs specified scheduled maintenance tasks as per contract with client.

· Running field operations, offering technical support, and troubleshooting on-site issues.

  • Coordinates with Remote Support for cases that need on-prem work.
  • Collaborates with relevant departments of ND for work required.
  • Communicates any client requests to ND FE team supervisor.

· Overseeing equipment testing, maintenance, installation, and planning.

· Drafting and submitting reports to superiors and other key individuals.

General Requirements

  • Is a licensed driver and motorbike/car owner.
  • Has working command of the English language.
  • Can work individually or as a team member.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Technically savvy and computer literate.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Good understanding of safety guidelines.
  • Versatile and service-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Reference from previous employer is welcome.
  • Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates.

Technical Requirements

  • Windows (7, 10, 11) client OS support
  • Microsoft Office 365 familiarity
  • Can setup entire small LAN by themselves (5-10 client with ALL equipment including network cabling) and support day 1 operations
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP principles
