Sunlight Technosystems, specializes in the production of plastic, metal and energy storage system parts. The company is entering a new phase of growth, aiming to expand its customer base and strengthen its commercial presence in Greece and abroad.
To support this transformation, we are seeking a Sales & Business Development Manager to lead the creation and growth of our commercial division. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the commercial strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and managing relationships with existing and potential customers. The role may be based in either Athens or Pedino Kilkis (near Thessaloniki), depending on the candidate's location.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role includes:
Develops and implements the commercial and business development strategy for Sunlight Technosystems, aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Identifies new customers, markets, and business opportunities — both domestically and internationally — for the company's manufacturing and engineering capabilities.
- Builds and maintains long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
- Works closely with the General Manager and other internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to ensure alignment between operations and commercial goals.
- Coordinates proposal preparation, pricing, and contract negotiations with customers.
- Analyzes market trends, competition, and customer needs to guide decision-making and growth initiatives.
- Monitors sales performance and prepares regular reports and forecasts.
- Represents the company in exhibitions, customer visits, and industry events.
- Contributes to shaping the structure, tools, and processes of the newly formed Sales & Business Development function.
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to identify, negotiate, and close deals with customers at a technical and commercial level.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate autonomously and build new structures from the ground up.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages will be a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
