WHAT YOU'LL DO?

  • In charge of crew changes and to ensure they are done accordingly as per company policies and in the most economical and efficient way
  • Adhere to department policies
  • Close contact with the vessels as per company standards. Update the vessel in due time regarding crew change plans
  • Make travel arrangements for sea employees and superintendents
  • Update and maintain crew personal files
  • Ensure crew certificates are up to date and comply too all national regulations (STCW/Flag etc.) and company regulations
  • Visit vessels when practicable during their port stays and meet the crew on board
  • Monitor crew evaluations and performances. Follow up with crew manager in case the evaluation is below standards and when seafarer is consistently very positive with promotion prospects
  • Verify and approve disbursement accounts (DA) from previous crew changed and crew department expenses as per invoice approval policy
  • Verify and approve soonest travel expenses as per company policies
  • First interview with job applicant
  • Create senior briefings according to a planned schedule
  • Brief new team members regarding crew policies and procedures
  • Accountable for achieving the departmental objectives
