Insurance Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO?
- Monitor open cases and collect data and evidence for insurance claims.
- Liaise directly with Crew, Technical, and Operations departments to track potential risks.
- Open claim files and coordinate with P&I Clubs and H&M Underwriters.
- Manage the full claim lifecycle, including documentation, reporting, expense tracking, and recovery follow-up.
- Provide daily insurance support to the Operations Department concerning Charter Party terms and cargo operations.
- Issue, renew, and monitor insurance certificates, ensuring compliance with banks, authorities, and vessel requirements.
- Review and reconcile insurance-related invoices, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Communicate with underwriters and clubs abroad for quotes, renewals, and periodic reporting.
- Prepare management presentations, KPIs, and insurance performance reports.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED?
- Previous experience in maritime or insurance fields.
- Academic background in Insurance, Law, Business, or Maritime Studies.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with teamwork orientation in a multicultural environment.
