On behalf of our client,
a well-established company based in Piraeus, active in the field of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering we are looking for an
Operations & Accounting Assistant
. With decades of expertise, their team specializes in the design, construction, reconstruction, and operational support of large private vessels and special-purpose crafts. The company is involved in high-end projects both in Greece and abroad, collaborating with international shipyards and delivering award-winning results. The work environment is professional yet collaborative, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor payments for suppliers, crew members and technical staff.
  • Maintain and regularly update Excel files with payment and reporting data.
  • Communicate with suppliers and the technical department to ensure timely payment execution.
  • Coordinate with external agents regarding crew travel arrangements and vessel movements.
  • Support the team in managing financial records and reporting when required.
  • Ensure information is properly filed and accessible.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Degree in Accounting or Business Administration from a university or vocational institute.
  • Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and reliability.

Good to have

  • Studies or seminars in Shipping/Maritime will be considered a plus.
