The Application Specialist is a member of the team responsible for developing and operating information systems related to the Billing domain (Billing, A/R, ERP) which support FiberGrid's FTTH network-based services, products and solutions. The key responsibilities of the role include solution design, execution and orchestration of the testing process of the deliverable, as well as contribution to the code writing, mainly for the purposes of testing and monitoring the proper functioning of the deliverable. In addition, this role also acts as a liaison between the IT and the Commercial Activities of the Company, which usually request the changes.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the design, implementation, configuration and smooth operation of BSS systems and/or of new capabilities in FiberGrid's existing BSS systems.
• Supports the team and Vendors in the implementation and operation of interfaces with Telecommunications providers using FiberGrid's FTTH network and with BSS systems.
• Monitors the implementation of the agreed KPIs based on agreements with other Telecommunications providers and/or regulatory requirements and carries out corrective actions in case of deviations.
• Collaborates closely with the Digital Systems Development & Operation Division of the PPC Group, with the aim of implementing and operating interfaces between the Billing systems and the Group's CRM, OSS, BI and other systems.
• Collaborates closely with FiberGrid's Technical Departments for the technical implementation of products and services including the implementation and seamless operation of the required interfaces with Network systems.
• Works closely with FiberGrid's Architecture Department for designing new Billing information systems and/or new capabilities thereof, contributing to the preparation of the required specifications.
• Collaborates effectively with BSS system Vendors.
• Promotes teamwork, cross-departmental collaboration and CX culture.

Requirements:

• University/Technological Educational Institute/College degree in Telecommunication Networks/Telecommunications Engineering, Informatics, Information Systems, or a Bachelor of Science or other technological discipline or Economics or management discipline
• A Master's degree in a related subject will be an asset
• At least two (2) years of experience in the implementation, configuration, and smooth operation of information systems at a Telecommunications Provider, Financial Institution, Gambling Operator, FMCG
• Experience in developing and configuring information systems at an IT Solutions Provider is desirable
• Knowledge of IT systems development and operation at a Telecommunications Provider, Financial Institution, Gambling Operator, FMCG
• Knowledge of development and operation of databases and programming languages, indicatively: SQL, PL-SQL, Shell, Python, C, Java
• Ability to implement, configure, and ensure smooth operation of information systems, primarily in cloud or on-premises infrastructures.
• Very good knowledge of the English Language
