Information Technology Assistant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Assistant to support our organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will handle troubleshooting, system and network maintenance, user support, and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of VoIP Systems
• Monitor network infrastructure and ensure optimal performance and security.
• Provide technical support and training to users on hardware, software, and other IT-related issues.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure systems comply with organizational policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and documentation of systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers for technical support and procurement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Assistant, IT Technician, or similar role.
• Very good knowledge of operating systems, networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls), and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and data privacy practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
