Job Description

The key responsibilities of the IT Business Analyst/Software Service Delivery Lead will include:

  • Gathering, analyzing and understanding business needs, developing clear and accurate specifications to ensure that systems fully meet business requirements.
  • Translates functional specifications and business process analysis into technical specifications.
  • Communicating change requests to the different vendors supporting the company's software needs.
  • Querying MS SQL Server, producing reports that provide feedback and support to business units.
  • Provide management and support for daily IT functions to maintain operational adequacy
  • Carry out monthly, quarter-end and year-end closing duties: Oversee and execute the month/quarter/year-end financial & operational close processes
  • Good communication skills and experience communicating with senior leadership.

The person we're looking for needs to have:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field.
  • 5+ experience in technology business analysis and IT software functions support.
  • Experience in querying Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in user requirements analysis, communication and documentation.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the insurance sector.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI reporting and data warehouse.
