We are looking for a talented and experienced
Database Administrator
to join our team on behalf of one of our major clients in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize
    MSSQL database environments
    with a focus on architecture, performance tuning, query optimization, and security.
  • Design and implement
    robust backup and recovery strategies, replication, clustering, and HA/DR solutions.
  • Support
    incident management
    , including investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of
    end-to-end project delivery
    with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and communicate professionally with clients.
  • Work both
    independently
    and as
    part of a collaborative, cross-functional team
    .

Requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of
    3 years of experience
    as a DBA.
  • Strong background in
    both on-premise and cloud-based MSSQL environments
    , including Azure SQL.
  • Proven skills in
    incident and problem management
    .
  • Experience delivering projects with limited oversight.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience in or exposure to the
    insurance industry
    is a plus.
