As a PostGre Database Administrator you will assist in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases.

Your role:

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues under supervision.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Help implement security measures and manage user roles and permissions.
• Maintain documentation of database configurations and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with developers and system administrators to ensure database availability and reliability.
• Participate in database upgrades, patching, and migration activities.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL architecture and tools (psql, pgAdmin).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Between 5 and 7 years of experience
• Good communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent command of both spoken and written English (any other European language would be a plus).
• You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required)

Nice to have:

• Exposure to replication, clustering, and high availability concepts (e.g., streaming replication, Patroni).
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of backup tools (pg_dump, pgBackRest).
• Certifications such as PostgreSQL Associate or equivalent are a plus.
