Freight Forwarder
to join our
Greek Branch

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate
    international and domestic road freight
    operations (FTL & LTL).
  • Liaise with
    HQ fleet management
    to optimize capacity and load planning.
  • Prepare and calculate
    quotations and pricing
    based on market conditions.
  • Oversee
    day-to-day transport operations
    , collaborating with fleet teams, partners, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
  • Handle
    invoicing
    — issue, check, and register outgoing/incoming invoices.
  • Support the
    Forwarding Department Lead
    in strategic planning, subcontractor development, and inside sales.
  • Track & follow
    KPIs
    , perform cost control, and optimize tools & processes.
  • Deliver
    customer service excellence
    , managing operational issues proactively (delays, breakdowns, customs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance and proper
    documentation
    (CMR, commercial invoices, etc.) in line with transport and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport, Shipping, or Economics
    .
  • 5+ years of experience
    in road freight forwarding or a related logistics position.
  • Strong knowledge of
    international and domestic freight markets
    .
  • Familiarity with
    import/export road-freight procedures
    .
  • Proven
    pricing and cost analysis
    skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication,
    customer-oriented mindset
    .
  • Fluent English (C2 level)
    .
  • Proficiency in
    ERP systems
    and
    MS Excel
    .
  • Basic understanding of
    accounting and invoicing procedures
    .
  • Knowledge of
    transport regulations
    (CMR, Incoterms, ADR) and
    customs processes
    .

Desired but Not Required

  • A
    second foreign language
    (Hungarian, Bulgarian, German, Polish, etc.).
  • Experience in
    route planning
    and
    cost optimization
    .
  • Knowledge of
    subcontractor networks and market relations
    .
  • Previous
    inside/field sales
    experience.
