Role description

The Forwarding Department Operator is responsible for coordinating and executing the daily operations of freight forwarding activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executes daily tasks, manages the company's export cases and informs the warehouses about the pickup schedule.
  • Communicates with partner warehouses, carriers and shipping lines to ensure smooth organization and execution of loadings/deliveries, and monitors the flow of shipments and deliveries.
  • Registers offers and loading details into the ERP system.
  • Creates and processes delivery reports
  • Issues transport documents/delivery notes based on customer requests.
  • Manages transport costs and conducts market research.

Requirements

  • University degree in Logistics/Operations/Finance
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent command of the english language, written & verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ideally knowledge of ORIAN ERP
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Understanding of international trade regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
