Summary

Russell Tobin is working with an industry-defining research/information services consultancy that is looking to launch their new European hub in Greece. They have become a top-player within the past 6-7 years and are looking to further expand their services into the EU market by onboarding research managers with a strong track record of client engagement with major financial institutions (PE, VC, hedge funds, asset management, etc.). The role will be based in Greece, Athens and will require fluency in both English and Greek. The role is being offered on a hybrid basis and looking to offer a highly competitive total compensation package.

Research Manager - Job Responsibilities

● Research Managers are directly responsible for managing a strong portfolio of clients, managing team members, and recruiting industry experts.

● We will ask you to challenge the norm and contribute to solutions to build something new to shape our firm. Have an idea on something we could be doing better? Set up a meeting with your Director of Research to build a proposal and watch your idea become a reality.

● Directly manage 3 to 4 Research Associates, including training, coaching, workload management, and engagement, ensuring team members are achieving targets and KPIs.

● Achieve client account goals and oversee client usage trends.

● Work directly with well-known clients to build trust and deliver a high-quality product by serving as a partner responsible for the daily communications and service delivery for projects.

● Contribute to a fast-paced company growth strategy through client relationship management, training junior team members, process improvement planning, and account strategy.

● Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, Compliance, and International teams to ensure client engagement growth.

Qualifications

● 2+ years of relevant working experience, ideally coming from a network/primary research firm

● Direct experience working with and servicing financial institution clients and accounts such as PE, VC, asset managers, etc.

● Fluent in English and Greek - fluency in additional languages is a plus

● Direct experience managing junior team members and stakeholders, as well as holding them accountable to individual targets and KPIs

● Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

● Strong time management skills and ability to set own schedule without falling behind on tasks

● Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multitask projects in a fast-paced & changing environment both independently & collaboratively

● Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team environment

● An energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can learn quickly and actively seeks out new business opportunities
