Thanks to our growing expansion, we are looking for our Tech Hub in Athens, an Accountant.

About the role

The Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bookkeeping for Tech hub entity
  • Post vendor invoices
  • Post expense and travel sheets of Tech hub personnel
  • Post payroll entries
  • Post journal entries and corrections
  • MyData administration
  • Be responsible for the entity's taxes
  • Collaborate with tax authorities
  • Prepare annual financial statements and reports
  • Participating in budgeting and forecasting
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Fluent Greek and English is required; German language skills will be considered a plus
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Deadline-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
