About the company:

The Politis group of companies with activities in the fields of outdoor advertising, radio stations, smart cities technologies solutions, internet and digital services is looking for the recruitment of an Accountant.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the positions mostly include:

  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable, banks and other accounting entries.
  • Bookkeeping and maintains accounting records.
  • Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain a structured (digital) filing system for corporate documents and file supporting documentation.
  • Administration tasks related to the duties of the position as required.
  • Ability to monitor fiscal issues via the ERP Module.
  • Perform reconciliations of customer, supplier, finance, and bank accounts. Oversee and monitor private agreements.
  • Maintain and manage company assets.
  • Compile, verify, and submit VAT, VIES, and withholding tax returns declaration forms.
  • Update and reconcile electronic books (myData) to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Requirements

The candidate must have the following skills and education:

  • BSc Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a relevant role.
  • Good knowledge of Greek GAAP.
  • Very good user of MS office & ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning and professional development.
  • Military obligations fulfilled
