Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst specialising on Murex to join our practice at one of the company's clients in the banking and financial services sector. This role will give you the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile projects, to transform and digitise their front-to-back systems:

Key Responsibilities

  • Gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements in a structured manner across the front-office, middle-office and operations;
  • Drafting functional specifications;
  • Participating in the design of solutions in the Murex ecosystem;
  • Coordinating with IT and business teams;
  • Organising, controlling and monitoring test/UAT phases;
  • Change management and post-deployment support.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who not only has strong analytical skills but can also demonstrate excellent applicable knowledge of Murex and has an inquisitive mindset around the underlying business processes and drivers. The successful applicant must have worked within a banking and/or financial services institution previously with hands-on experience on Murex.

Essential Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in banking, financial services, or consulting - Required
  • 3+ years' experience on Murex - Required
  • Knowledge of the trade lifecycle, derivatives, fixed income, FX, collateral, risk management and regulatory reporting - Required
  • Ability to communicate and work with both IT and business teams - Required
  • Strong communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders - Required
  • Fluent in both English & French - Required
