B. JOB PURPOSE

The
Sales & Business Development Manager
is responsible for driving sustainable global growth by leading the international sales team, developing new markets, and defining clear strategies for business expansion. This role combines sales leadership with strategic market development — identifying new opportunities worldwide, setting actionable market-entry plans, and establishing long-term partnerships that support the company's international footprint. The position requires a proactive, data-driven, and entrepreneurial leader capable of turning insights into executable global growth initiatives.

C. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Market Development & Growth

●      Identify, assess, and prioritize new international markets, channels, and customer segments to expand the company's global presence.

●      Develop comprehensive market-entry and business development strategies for each targeted region, including competitive analysis, positioning, and pricing approach.

●      Research emerging trends, customer needs, and regional regulations to support strategic decision-making.

●      Build strategic alliances, partnerships, and distribution networks to accelerate market penetration and revenue growth.

●      Define and manage the global business development roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term objectives.

Sales Leadership & Performance Management

●      Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Key Account International Managers to achieve revenue and growth targets.

●      Design and implement a data-driven sales planning framework to maximize sales performance across existing and new markets.

●      Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure continuous performance improvement through coaching, feedback, and structured evaluations.

●      Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders at a global level.

●      Oversee contract negotiations and ensure profitable and sustainable agreements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

●      Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Product Development to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies and aligned objectives.

●      Provide market intelligence and insights to guide product adaptation, pricing, and communication strategies for different regions.

●      Collaborate with Finance and Operations to build and manage annual sales and business development budgets efficiently.

Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting

●      Continuously analyze sales performance, market data, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.

●      Translate insights into actionable recommendations for management and the broader organization.

●      Prepare regular reports and forecasts that support strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level.

People Development & Culture

●      Build a high-performing international sales organization by implementing targeted training programs, development plans, and incentive schemes.

●      Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across the sales and business development teams.

D. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

●      
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, or related field (MBA or similar postgraduate degree preferred).

●      
Minimum 5 years' experience in international sales, business development, or market expansion roles, preferably within a multinational or export-oriented environment.

E. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

●       Proven track record of opening new markets and delivering sustainable growth in diverse geographies.

●       Excellent command of English; additional languages are a strong asset.

●       Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and CRM systems.

●       Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.

●       High adaptability, cultural awareness, and willingness to travel extensively.

●       Ability to perform under pressure while balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
